Omar Yussef gets Greetings from Asbury Park, New Jersey

If the Palestinians ever decide to take an American rock song for their anthem, it’d have to be Tom Petty’s “Refugee”. But Bruce Springsteen, too, has had a crack at portraying the problems of Muslims today (“Worlds Apart,” The Rising). If he was reading his hometown newspaper this weekend, he’ll have seen a great write-up about my novel A Grave in Gaza, in which I look at the troubles of Gaza through the prism of a mystery story.
